Overview: Energy matters are discussed with high public attention these days. Oil and fuel price developments, energy security and new technologies are of high importance both in domestic political discussions and international negotiations about Climate Change. Royal Dutch Shell has recently published its Energy Scenarios to 2050, a document that describes Shell´s views about the future of energy systems in two scenarios. During the seminar, Shell's speaker will present a summary of the scenarios and the impact of different pathways taken in international negotiations, leading to the "three hard truths about energy".
